Located in Board of Education District 1 and KCS Region 5, Austin-East High School, lives by the 2800 MADE Foundations: Mindful, Accountable, Determined, and Engaged. These values shape how we treat one another, how we approach learning, and how we support our community.
To be Mindful means showing respect for ourselves and others, staying aware of how our actions affect people, and learning from both successes and mistakes.
Being Accountable means being present, prepared, and responsible while treating everyone with dignity and following expectations.
We are Determined by staying strong through challenges, solving problems with focus, and bravely taking steps toward our goals.
We are also Engaged, showing curiosity by asking questions, communicating respectfully, and staying active in both school life and the East Knoxville community.
