Academics

Austin-East follows the district’s 865 Academies model.

Ninth-grade students learn within the Freshman Academy, building a strong foundation for high school success.

In 10th grade, students join one of our two career-themed academies:

  • The Academy of Health Science and STEM
  • The Academy of Entrepreneurship and Professional Services

They'll take classes in their chosen academy through graduation ensuring their learning is connected to real-world skills and future opportunities.
