School Counseling
The Austin-East Counseling Team supports the whole child and the whole school. Their mission is to empower every Roadrunner to graduate on time with the academic, career, and social-emotional skills needed for success beyond high school. Counselors provide academic advising, college and career planning, social-emotional support, crisis response, attendance and behavior interventions, and strong family and community partnerships. They promote equity and access for every student and collaborate closely with teachers and staff to remove barriers, strengthen readiness, and help each student thrive as a productive and engaged member of the community.
The Counseling Office is open daily for students to stop by and talk to their counselor to discuss their academic plan, connect with scholarship and financial aid, address any social/emotional concerns and much more. Parents and students are welcome to contact their student's counselor to make an appointment!
